Are you interested in becoming a leader of your local ICF chapter or possibly serving as a member of the Global ICF Board? Do you believe it would be useful to prepare for those leadership roles in a meaningful and relevant way? If you do, we invite you to participate in the upcoming ICF Leadership Institute Pilot Program sponsored by the ICF Maryland Chapter. Here are the details.
The basic requirement to participate in the Leadership Institute is that you be a member of Global ICF. We also ask that you commit to participate in all four 90-minute webinars that will be conducted on the second Wednesday of January, February, March and April 2016 from noon to 1:30 pm Eastern time, and that you agree to complete a short evaluation survey after each webinar and a more in depth survey at the end of all four webinars. The survey results will be used to determine whether and in what manner future ICF Leadership Institute should be conducted.
Each webinar will be highly interactive and will focus on leadership skills and principles that are pertinent to ICF as well as having broader applications to other leadership roles. Participants are also expected to do a modest amount of reading and other types of learning assignments prior to each webinar. The ICF Leadership Institute is not intended to compete with other, more general leadership training programs offered by ICF members or other organizations.
Two weeks after each webinar there will also be an optional one-hour facilitated follow-up call to discuss the information provided during the webinar and to enhance the learning from the webinar.
The cost of the Leadership Institute is a total of US $100 for all four webinars and the four optional follow-up calls payable at time of registration. The webinars and the follow-up calls will be recorded in case you have a significant conflict and you are not able to participate in a webinar or follow-up call. Presentation slides will also be provided for each webinar. It will not be possible to refund any portion of the registration fee.
1.5 ICF CCEUs in Resource Development (RD) will be awarded for full, in-person participation in each webinar or a total of 6 CCEUS for all four webinars, and 1.0 ICF CCEUs in RD will be awarded for full, in-person participation on each of the optional follow-up calls.
